Justyna Gieżyńska

Justyna Gieżyńska provides support to higher education institutions and organisations from Poland and abroad in all aspects important to internationalisation, such as strategy development, development of English-taught academic programmes, education design, internationalisation audit, operational improvements related to the Erasmus+ Programme and international partnership development. She authored a chapter entitled “Internationalisation in Poland” in a joint-cooperation report on “Internationalisation of Higher Education” (IP/B/CULT/IC72014-002) for Policy Department B: Structural and Cohesion Policies at the European Parliament, she has been a NAWA expert, trainer, education developer, an European Association of International Education member. Educated in the United States in Cultural Anthropology (BA from University of California, Santa Cruz) and Central and Eastern European Studies (MA from Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University, Washington), Justyna held various posts at higher education institutions and in business, she also worked at the World Bank in Washington and Warsaw. Her work focuses on staff development, strategic Internationalisation at Home, and internationalisation of the curriculum for increasing the quality of education.

Michalina

Michalina Jaskólska is an experienced project coordinator, an administrative manager, and international partnership manager. So far, she has managed project budgets up to 500 000 EUR. Michalina has vast expertise in EU project funding and project management, having successfully created, implemented, and delivered international projects for various NGOs and sports clubs in the last 18 years. She organises and produces seminars, conferences and large dissemination events. Michalina graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan in the European Union Studies (MA) and she continued her postgraduate studies in EU funding. She has spent several years working for NGOs working within ESF, EQUAL and Erasmus+ programmes. Michalina has excellent communication skills and worked as a consecutive interpreter. In projects carried out by Luminar Foundation, Michalina is responsible for administrative project coordination, communication between Luminar Foundation partners, project implementation according to schedule, proper budget implementation, communication with institutions providing co-financing, and reporting
